As much as we enjoy bringing our TEAM DAYS to you, their impact depends on the space in which we will work together. The comedian Jerry Seinfeld once expressed the importance of the right venue like this:

“The room is doing 80% of the job. Every comedian has had this experience where he’s been in a club, some rich guy sees him and says, Oh, I am going to have this guy at my party. And you go to the party and they put you into the living room or some weird party room. And you go into the toilet.”

You bring different aspects of your personality to each location. The you that shows up in a formal office meeting is not the same you that arrives to meet your friends at the beach. Your ability to focus in an open office environment is different from when you work in a library. Doctors know the importance of set and setting for medical treatments. Schools see the impact that environments have on cognitive ability and move away from “sitting in rows with a teacher at the front”.
